Analisis Kejadian Banjir Kota Pekanbaru Dengan Menggunakan Google Earth Engine
Climate change is currently taking place with direct impacts, one of which is related to disaster events such as floods. Based on disaster data records published by BNPB, the percentage of hydrometeorological disasters is 99.2% and 0.8% of geological disasters. With various disasters that occur and have a massive impact, the need for complete and fast flood disaster information can be done by utilizing Google Earth Engine which can map flood areas using SAR-1 sentinel images and using scripts from UN-SPIDER. The conclusion of the results of mapping potential flood inundation in Pekanbaru City by utilizing Google Earth Engine during the 2021-2023 range with the largest percentage in 2021 with an area of 2714 Ha then in 2023 with an area of 867 Ha and in 2022 with an area of 310 Ha, the results obtained using a threshold value of 1.17 by general, with VH polarization and orbital path 91. Validation is carried out using data from BPBD Pekanbaru City and BWSS III, the results of the validation of the Google Earth Engine flood distribution model from 2021-2023 with existing disaster data, show that there is a match between the results of flood points and actual disaster records that occur.
