Analisis Kerentanan Pantai Di Wilayah Pesisir Kuala Merbau
The research was conducted from July to September 2024. The secondary sampling took place along the coastline of Kuala Merbau. With data analysis performed in the Physical Oceanography laboratory. This research employs remote sensing techniques and field surveys to assess coastal vulnerability. The processing of secondary samples was carried out at 12 sampling sites using the CVI method, which encompasses geomorphology, beach slope, berm characteristics, shoreline alterations, significant wave height, tidal range, and elevation. Transects 3, 6, and 8 exhibit low vulnerability, while transects 1, 4, 5, 7, 9, and 10 show moderate vulnerability, and transects 2, 11, and 12 reveal high vulnerability. The geomorphology mainly consists of sandy mud beaches and berm characteristics that dominate the forest area, and the coastline is currently undergoing abrasion.
