Fenomena Aksi Bunuh Diri Di Desa Koto Tinggi Kecamatan Ra Mbah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu

This study aims to understand the community's responses to the causes of suicide using Durkheim's Suicide theory and their perspectives on suicide based on Paul A. Bell's schema. The research adopts a quantitative approach with descriptive analysis. The population comprises all residents of Koto Tinggi Village, with a sample of 97 respondents selected through proportional sampling. Data collection was conducted via direct and controlled distribution of research questionnaires. The collected data were then processed using SPSS 25 software. The results indicate that the causes of suicide in Luba Hulu and Luba Hilir hamlets are categorized as anomic, while in Pasar Senin hamlet, they are categorized as fatalistic. Furthermore, the community's perspectives on suicide in Koto Tinggi Village remain within an optimal range.
