This research was carried out in Tapung Jaya Village with the aim of identifying and providing information about the existence of a tofu home industry which plays a role in empowering the community economy in Tapung Jaya Village. This research uses qualitative methods. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Furthermore, data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that this tofu industry plays a role in empowering the economy of the surrounding community, this tofu home industry also plays a role in absorbing the workforce of the surrounding community, when compared to when it was first built, labor absorption in the tofu home industry increases every year.
