Additionally, this study aims to quantify the total bacteria, fungi, and Coliform, and detect Escherichia coli O157:H7 and Vibrio sp. in drinks sold by outlets in Pekanbaru. The method used includes determining the total plate count on growth media, with total Coliform measured using MacConkey Agar, total bacteria using Plate Count Agar, total fungi using Potato Dextrose Agar, Escherichia coli O157:H7 identification using CHROMagarâ„¢ O157, and Vibrio sp.. prevalence using Thiosulfate citrate bile salt sucrose (TCBS) media. The results showed that out of 15 drink samples from outlets in Pekanbaru, 12 samples had bacterial colony counts that exceeded the limit (TNTC), and all samples had fungal counts that were over the limit, with 6 samples identified as containing Coliform bacteria. In addition, out of 15 drink samples from outlets in Pekanbaru, 3 samples were found to contain E. coli, but no Escherichia coli O157:H7 was detected, and 2 samples were contaminated with Vibrio sp. bacteria.
