Potensi Jamur Trichoderma Asperellum Lbkurcc1 Dalam Bioremediasi Pome Dengan Parameter Chemical Oxygen Demand Dan Biological Oxygend Demand
Trichoderma produced various enzyme such as glukanase, protease, kitinase, selulase, lakase and xilanase which are a colection from the Enzyme, Fermentation and Molecular Biolgy, Laboratory, Department Chemistry FMIPA, University of Riau isolated from the soil of cocoa plantation in Riau. These enzyme can degradation organic materials and suspended materials in POME into simpler compunds and can perform bioremediation on dyes. This study aims to explore the potential of the Trichoderma asperellum LBKURCC1 as the bioromediation of POME with an incubatioon time of 8 days. The effectiveness as a bioagent was be seen from the decrease in COD, BOD and pH values which were at the application on days 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8. COD measurement were carried out using titrimetryc method in accordig to SNI 6989.73.2019. BOD using the winkler method (iodometry) in according to SNI 6989.72.2009 and dissolved oxygen according to SNI 6989.11.2019. The result obtained showed that Trichoderma asperellum LBKURCC1 was able to reduce COD levels by 65.55 %. There was reduction COD of 65.55 % from 10554.88 mg/L (0 days) was due to 3635.83 mg/L after 8 days of incubation. The decreased in COD levels cellulase enzyme in Trichoderma breakingdown cellulosa in POME into simpler molecules. The decrease BOD value reached 91.36 %, the BOD value on 0 days was 1981.91 mg/L to 171.08 mg/L on day 8, the decrease in BOD was due to the biological activity of microorganism degrading POME which as their nutritional needs. There was an increase pH from 8.0 on day 0 to 8.9 on day 8. The increase in pH occured due to the denitrification process which released CO2 and H2O the formation of OH- ions. Trichoderma asperellum LBKURCC1 has potential to be bioremediation bioaget in POME, because it reduce BOD and COD. A suggest for future research is to explore the potential of the Trichoderma asperellum LBKURCC1.
