Persepsi Siswa Sman 9 Pekanbaru Terhadap Penggunaan Media Flashcard Digital Dan Flashcard Kertas Dalam Penguasaan Kosakata Bahasa Jepang
This study analyzes students' perceptions of the use of digital flashcard media and paper flashcards in mastering Japanese vocabulary. The purpose of this study was to find out how the perceptions and whether there are differences in students' perceptions at SMAN 9 Pekanbaru towards the use of digital flashcard media and paper flashcards in mastering Japanese vocabulary. This study uses a quantitative descriptive analysis method with 27 respondents of class XI IPA 4 SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. Data were obtained through a closed questionnaire based on Likert and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the study showed that overall there were differences in students' perceptions where students' perceptions of digital flashcards were in the positive category while students' perceptions of paper flashcards were in the moderate category. This study concluded that students tended to give more positive responses to digital flashcard media than paper flashcards. This means that digital flashcard media is more in line with students' preferences in this modern era, where digital technology is a part of everyday life. The advantages of digital flashcard media such as easy access and various features are factors that add value to this positive perception. However, by looking at the differences in perception based on the differences in calculation results which are not too far apart, it can be concluded that the use of paper flashcards is still relevant as a conventional teaching medium, paper flashcards still have educational value, especially in group learning situations or when technology is not available.
