Analisis Daya Saing Kopra Indonesia Dipasar Internasional

The development of coconut exports on the international market is very developed, where coconut commodities are not only sold as round coconuts, but many coconut derivatives are also sold on the international market, one of which is copra. The research was carried out in October 2023- April 2024. The data used was a time series for 10 years (2012-2021). Secondary data collected includes: import and export value of copra for Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, India and the rest of the world. Data sources BPS RI, Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, Food and Agriculture Organization and United Nations Commodity Trade Statistics Database (UN Comtrade) Analysis using Trade Specialization Index analysis. The analysis results show that Indonesia's Trade Specialization Index (ISP) in the 2012-2021 period is stable at the maturity stage with a value of 0.99. Thailand in the 2012-2021 period was stable at the maturity stage with a value of 0.91. India in the 2012-2021 period tends to decline, India in 2012-2014 is at the maturity stage with a value of 0.98. In 2015 it fell to 0.5908 but increased in 2016 and fell again in 2017-2021 until negative. This is the lowest, meaning India in 2017-2021 India is at the product introduction stage. Vietnam In the 2012-2021 period it was stable at the maturity stage with a value of 0.98.
