Analisis Jaringan Komunikasi Pekebun Kelapa Sawit Dalam Pelaksanaan Replanting Di Surya Indah Kecamatan Pangkalan Kuras Kabupaten Pelalawan
This research aimed to analyze the communication network patterns formed among farmers, the actors involved, and their roles in implementing oil palm replanting in Surya Indah Village, Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency. The sampling method used in this study employed non-probability sampling techniques, consisting of purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The research findings indicated that the communication network formed during the replanting process exhibited a dominant hub pattern, where the network structure formed a hub pattern. The roles identified in the formed communication network were star, bridge, gatekeeper, and opinion leader. Individual-level communication network analysis was conducted to identify actors as stars, actors suitable for disseminating information, and actors as communication controllers. The star actor in oil palm replanting was Suratman (SR), the chairman of KUD Brata Jaya. The bridge actors were Adi (A) and Tri Indra Sasungko (TIS). The gatekeeper actors were Sigid Anugroho (SA) and Bambang Suwondo (BS). Actors with above-average importance and strength or located in quadrant II were A, TIS, SR, BS, and SA. Furthermore, the communication network at the individual level included local centrality (A) and (TIS), global centrality (A) and (TIS), togetherness (SR), and interconnectedness (A) and (TIS).
