Strategi Peningkatan Produktivitas Padi Sawah Di Desa Pelukahan Kecamatan Kuantan Hilir Seberang Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

Pelukahan Village is one of the villages in Kuantan Hilir Seberang District which has potential in the agricultural sector, especiallyrice commodities. The area of rice fields in Pelukahan Village is 34.9 Ha of rain-fed rice fields. IP is carried out once a year starting from February to August. Based on BPS data from Riau Province in 2021, Kuantan Singingi produced 20,950 tons. Pelukahan Village has an average productivity of 4 tonnes. The aim of the research is to identify internal and external factors, formulate strategies, determine strategic priorities for increasing lowland rice productivity in Pelukahan Village. The types of data used in this research are quantitative data and qualitative data. The data sources used in this research are primary data and secondary data. In this research, data collection was carried out using observation, interviews, as well as documentation studies and reports. The data is then used the SWOT matrix and then developed using QSPM. The results of this research show that there are significant differences in strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The strategy obtained from the SWOT analysis is conducting a comparative study. Providing quality production facilities in farming through coordination with the government and related agencies, providing quality production facilities in the farming sector through coordination with the government and related agencies, seeking the level of technology adoption in land processing and post-harvest, coordination with local government/use of superior seed varieties and socialization of 5T, implementation of an integrated pest control program, regulation of rice planting season patterns based on climate data and appropriate planning, development of partnerships with the private sector for agricultural infrastructure, application of environmentally friendly pest control technology to overcome pest attacks . and in the QSPM analysis several priority strategies were obtained that could be used to increase lowland rice productivity in Pelukahan Village.
