Mobilitasmata Pencaharian Nelayan Ke Non Nelayan Di Desa Tanjung Sari Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi Timur Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti
This research discusses fishermen who experience changes in livelihood systems and fishermen's self-adjustment in dealing with changes in Tanjung Sari Village, East Tebing Tinggi District, Meranti Islands District. The objectives in the study were to find out changes in the fishermen's livelihood system and to understand the fishermen's self-adjustment in dealing with changes in the livelihood system. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were five people, namely fishermen who experienced changes in the livelihood system using purposive techniques. The results showed that the reasons for changes in the livelihood system in fishermen were due to 1) Broken boats, 2) Lost and damaged fishing gear and 3) Illness. Self-adjustment of fishermen who experience changes in the livelihood system in the form of 1) Adjustment of ability to work, 2) Adjustment to the new work location, 3) Adjustment to new working hours and routines, 4) Adjustment in workplace interactions, and 5) Adjustment to new income. The self-adjustment of fishermen who do not experience changes in the livelihood system are 1) Adjustment to season and weather, 2) Adjustment to the catch and 3) Adjustment to fishermen's income.
