This research is entitled The Effectiveness of Index Card Match (ICM) Learning Media on Japanese Vocabulary Skills of Grade 11 Students of SMA N 1 Tilatang Kamang, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. This type of research is a pre- experimental research involving one experimental class with the aim of determining the effectiveness of Index Card Match (ICM) learning media on Japanese language learning outcomes of grade 11 students of SMA N 1 Tilatang Kamang, Agam Regency, West Sumatra in the 2024/2025 academic year. The data collection method used was a student learning outcome test in the form of a test question.
The results of the study showed that, in the provision of the pretest-posttest, the average student score increased, namely 68.82 - 86.93. Then from the standard of completeness of the score at SMA N 1 Tilatang Kamang, from 71.42% or 20 students who did not complete the pretest increased to 96.42% or 27 students were able to achieve the completeness score in the provision of the posttest. From the hypothesis test, the Index Card Match learning media has an effect on student learning outcomes. This can be proven by the sig value (2-tailed) 0.000
