Rancangbangun Aplikasi Rekomendasi Pemilihan Komponen PC Menggunakan Metode Pengembangan RUP
Personal computers (PCs) are essential in daily life for personal, work, and entertainment purposes. In Indonesia, computer usage reached 18.24% in 2021, with the highest distribution in DKI Jakarta. Many users choose desktop PCs for high-performance needs or long-term work, with the option of purchasing pre-built systems or assembling components themselves. Although assembling a PC offers flexibility, this process is often difficult due to compatibility issues and budget constraints. This study aims to develop a website-based application to help users select components based on their needs and budget, reducing errors in component selection. The development of this application uses the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology for efficiency in iterative development and testing, while optimizing the selection of compatible components within budget constraints.
