Perencanaan Strategis Sistem Informasi Menggunakan Metode Ward And Peppard Pada Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau

The Ministry of Religious Affairs of Kampar Regency in Riau Province is a religious office in one of the regencies in Riau Province, specifically in Kampar Regency. The strategic planning of IT/IS using the Ward and Peppard method aims to improve the competitiveness of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Kampar Regency in Riau Province to enhance the quality of its future services. This study uses SWOT analysis, Value Chain, and PEST to obtain internal/external data, and McFarlan for application portfolio. Based on the SWOT analysis, the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Kampar Regency in Riau Province has a score of 2.09 and a value of 0.65, supporting an Aggressive strategy. The analysis results indicate that leveraging infrastructure, policies, human resources, and cooperation with other institutions demonstrates the strengths of the organization. The value chain analysis identifies activities that create value both internally and externally, and the PEST analysis suggests increasing the use of technology in religious affairs to design a strategy to integrate this technology into their program services. Meanwhile, McFarlan produces thirteen recommendations and eight proposed information systems that should be built and developed in the future.
