Penerapan Model Cinqase Berbantuan Canva Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Peserta Didik Pada Materi Gerak Dan Gaya Kelas Vii Smp Negeri 4 Pekanbaru
Education plays an important role in the development of the nation and state. The low quality of education at all levels and educational units in Indonesia is one of the problems we face in modern times. The most basic problem in the world of education is the low attention of students during the learning process, especially science learning. Science learning is a type of contextual learning in which learners receive a direct learning experience. The cause of low student learning outcomes is due to a boring learning model, not involving active students and not using learning media. One of the alternatives to overcome the above problems is to apply the Canva-assisted CinQASE model.
The purpose of this study is to describe the cognitive learning outcomes of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru after applying the canva-assisted CinQASE model on motion and style materials and to find out the difference in cognitive learning outcomes of students after applying the canva-assisted CinQASE model with the conventional model on grade VII motion and style materials of SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru.
This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru in the odd semester of 2024/2025. This study uses the Quasi Experiment type of research using the Posttest only Control Design design. The population of this study is students in grade VII of SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru for the 2024/2025 school year which consists of 5 classes and totals 210 students. The samples that have been taken in this study are class VII.1 as an experimental class and class VII.2 as a control class. The experimental class was treated by applying the CinQASE model assisted by canva, while the control class was treated by applying conventional learning. After the learning of the two classes is complete, both classes take a posttest consisting of 20 questions. The results obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis.
The results of the descriptive analysis obtained showed that the class that was given treatment by applying the Canva-assisted CinQASE model got an average score of 85.12 compared to the control class with the conventional learning

model with an average score of 73.33. These results show that the application of the canva-assisted CinQASE model can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes. The results of the inferential analysis that has been carried out using a hypothesis test, namely the Independent Sample T-Test using SPSS, obtained a significance value in sig.(2-tailed) of 0.000 which means less than 0.05. In accordance with the requirements of the t-test, if the significance value is small from 0.05, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that there is a significant difference in the cognitive learning outcomes of students after applying the canva-assisted CinQASE model compared to conventional learning in movement and style materials in grade VII of SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru.
Based on the descriptive and inferential analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the application of the Canva-assisted CinQASE model can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes. Therefore, the researcher recommends the application of canva-assisted CinQASE as an alternative in science learning to improve student learning outcomes, especially in motion and style materials.
