Pengembangan Alat Eksperimen Kinematika Gerak Lurus Berbasis Mikrokontroler Untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Siswa Sma
Effective physics learning requires students to play an active role in the learning process, one of which is through experiments. However, the lack of use of appropriate experimental tools can cause learning to become monotonous and less interesting for students. This research aims to develop a microcontroller-based linear motion kinematics experimental tool as well as student worksheets (LKPD) to improve high school students' understanding of concepts.
This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Validation of the experimental tools was carried out by three learning media experts, while the practicality test involved three teachers and ten students at MA Al-Kautsar Pekanbaru. The data analysis technique uses Aiken's V index to assess validity and descriptive analysis for practicality.
The research results showed that the experimental tool developed had a high level of validity with an average score of 0.85, while the LKPD obtained a validity score of 0.84. The practicality test showed that the experimental tools and LKPD received positive responses from teachers and students with a score of ≥ 3 in each aspect of the assessment. Thus, the microcontroller-based linear motion kinematics experimental tool is declared valid and practical for use as a learning medium in high school.
