Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Gambar Seri Terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Teks Cerita Fantasi Siswa Kelas Vii Smp Taruna Sakti Pekanbaru
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of serial image media in learning to menu fantasy story texts. This research was carried out in class VII Siliwangi, semester 1, Academic Year 2024/2025, SMP Taruna Sakti Pekanbaru. This type of research is used in this study, namely experimental research that has a control class in the research. Experimental research was used to determine the effectiveness of serial image media by using a pretest-posttest control group design research design. The population in this study is Siliwangi 1 and Siliwangi 2 students with 21 students in each class. The samples in this study were taken from two classes, namely Siliwangi Class 1 control class and Siliwangi 2 experimental class. The instrument used is a performance test. The hypothesis data analysis technique is first the Shapiro- Wilk normality test and the homogeneity test, the test uses the Wilcoxon test. The test results of both samples came from an abnormally distributed but homogeneously distributed population, thus the study provided treatment to both samples. From the results of data analysis, the average value of learning outcomes of students who were treated using series image media was 83.952 while in the control class that was given learning treatment that did not use series image media was 71.952. The hypothesis test was carried out using the Wilcoxon test, and from the calculation results obtained a value that Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) was valued at 0.00. Because the value is 0.00 < 0.05, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that a series of image media is effective for learning to write fantasy stories in grade VII students of SMP Taruna Sakti Pekanbaru.
