Analisis Keberlanjutan Usahatani Sayuran Di Kelurahan Maharatu Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
The conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural land in urban areas has become a phenomenon that occurs in various cities in Indonesia. Maharatu Village is one of the areas in Pekanbaru City which is one of the locations of vegetable producers and is experiencing population growth which results in increased demand for residential land and other infrastructure that can threaten the sustainability of vegetable farming in Maharatu Village. The purpose of this study was to determine the sustainability status and sensitive attributes in the sustainability of vegetable farming in Maharatu Village. The research used descriptive qualitative methods. Total samples are 30 samples with purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used to assess the index and sustainability status of vegetable farming is MDS RAPS. Sensitive attributes were determined using leverage analysis. The results showed that the sustainability status of vegetable farming in Maharatu Village resulted in a score of 65.46, in the moderately sustainable category. Sensitive attributes in the ecological dimension are the quality of crop yields, soil fertility conditions, intensity of pest and disease attacks, and the use of chemical fertilizers. In the economic dimension are diversification of farmer income, farm income, land ownership status, stability of selling prices, and agricultural product marketing systems. In the social dimension are farmer age, farmer education level, community views on land conversion, and family participation in farming. In the technology dimension are irrigation technology, cropping pattern technology, post-harvest, use of information technology, and superior seed technology. Sensitive attributes in the institutional dimension are the availability of instructor.
