ABSTRACT
An increase in occupational diseases, particularly Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, is increasingly occurring in workers who perform repetitive movements and prolonged hand use. Although the prevalence of carpal tunnel syndrome in the world is quite high, the related data in Indonesia is still unclear, indicating low public awareness of this disease. For this reason, a web-based expert system that uses the forward chaining method to diagnose the disease based on symptoms is needed. This expert system will help provide a quick and accurate diagnosis, and increase public awareness of carpal tunnel syndrome. Hopefully, this system can help with early treatment, provide valid information, and prevent further development of the disease.
