Analisa Tingkat Pencemaran Air Bawah Tanah Menggunakan Metode Geolistrik Dan Geokimia Di Kelurahan Sidomulyo Timur Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru
Water is one of the resources that must be fulfilled every day. According to the
National Standards Agency, the need for water is 60 to 120 L/day/capita.
Waterpollution can occur due to industrial, agricultural, livestock and domestic
activities. The research site is located at Gg.ridho, Jl. Rambutan, Sidomulyo
Timur Village, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City, where pollution at this
location occurs due to the large number of piles of garbage and the lack of water
drains. The Schlumberger configuration geoelectric method was applied to
determine the resistivity value of rocks, so as to identify the depth of the aquifer
around the research area. Geochemical methods are used to determine the
chemical content of water around the research area. The parameters measured
were pH, TDS, conductivity, and turbidity. The data obtained were then processed
using the IP2WIN software application and surfer software. Data collection was
carried out using 2 passes, each pass has a length of 100 metres. Groundwater in
the first layer is located at depths of 0.876, 1.57, and 16.4 metres with resistivity
values ranging from 5.48, 263, and 294 Ωm. Groundwater in the second layer is
located at depths of 0.9 and 15.6 metres with resistivity values of 3.9 and 289 Ωm.
Geochemical method analysis based on TDS, conductivity and turbidity values of
all water samples is considered suitable for consumption. However, based on the
pH measurement results, there are no water samples that are suitable for
consumption. Thus, the water around the study area is not suitable for
consumption but can be used to fulfil daily needs.
