Pembuatan Sensor Objek Feromagnetik Berbasis Hmc5883l Dan Arduino Uno
A ferrite magnet (Fe2O3) is a ceramic-based magnet that generates a powerful magnetic field and is widely used in the field of magnetism due to its relatively low cost and corrosion resistance. Ferrite magnets also exhibit high magnetic permeability and moderate magnetic strength, making them ideal for permanent magnets. In this study, a linear distance measurement system was designed using permanent magnets made of ferrite, with a measurement range of 1.0 to 20 mm. The method used involves measuring changes in the magnetic field due to changes in the magnetic circuit flux caused by the displacement of an iron object and analyzing the linear displacement of the iron object. The sensors used for magnetic field measurement based on Arduino Uno are the HMC5883L and SS49e. The effectiveness of the sensor system design is determined by the sensor's response to changes in the magnetic field and the difference in the response graph when aligned parallel and perpendicular to the geomagnetic field. The variations in the length of the iron object are 3 cm, 7 cm, and 11 cm. The results of the ferromagnetic object sensor measurements include the magnetic field from the magnetic circuit and the presence of external factors in the measurement. The comparison of linear magnetic field measurements shows good results with the coefficient of determination of HMC5883L R2 = 0.988 and SS49e R2 = 0.976.
