Resolusi Konflik Antar Pemuda Di Kecamatan Pinggir Kabupaten Bengkalis

Conflict is a dispute between one individual and another or a dispute between one group and another. In this study, the conflict that occurred was a conflict between youth, namely the youth of Pinggir Village and the youth of Semunai Village. This study aims to determine the background of the conflict between the youth of Pinggir Village and the youth of Semunai Village, and the resolution of the conflict between the youth of Pinggir Village and the youth of Semunai Village. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out with three simultaneous flows, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that there are stereotypes and the potential for conflict as seen from Johan Galtung's conflict triangle theory, namely the attitudes and behavior of village youth which are considered the background to the occurrence of conflict to the peak of the situation or contradiction. Emotional attitudes and passionate egos and brave behavior based on a high sense of solidarity in village youth are considered the background to the occurrence of conflict to the point of physical violence at the peak of the conflict which is considered a contradiction, and the resolution of the conflict carried out is the existence of a peace agreement agreed upon between village youth and witnesses.
