Analisis kandungan bahan organik sedimen dan kelimpahan makrozoobentos di pantai sako kecamatan bungus teluk kabung sumatera barat

This study aims to determine the amount of organic matter content and
abundance of macrozoobenthos species that inhabit the waters of Sako Beach,
Bungus Teluk Kabung District, West Sumatra. This research was conducted in
March-April 2024 in the Sako Beach area, Bungus Teluk Kabung District, West
Sumatra Province. This study uses a survey method, namely observation and
data collection directly in the field, and the determination of sampling points is
done by purposive sampling. The results of this study showed a simple linear
regression between organic matter content and macrozoobenthos abundance at
Sako Beach obtained a regression equation Y = 1175.8x + 6.8071. R2 value of
0.7449 which means the influence of sediment organic matter content (%) on the
abundance of macrozoobenthos by 74.49%. While the value of r is 0.8630, stating
the relationship of sediment organic matter content (%) to the abundance of
macrozoobenthos is very strong.
