Bioekologi ikan pantau (Rasbora caudimaculata) di danau tuok tonga desa buluh cina kecamatan siak hulu kabupaten kampar provinsi riau
Rasbora caudimaculata or known as “pantau“ fish is a freshwater fish that is often found in Tuok Tonga Lake. The purpose of this study was to determine the environmental characteristics of the lake that support the life of fish as well as to determine the biological characteristics of the fish. This study was conducted in June-July 2024. Sampling was carried out 3 times / 2 weeks. Parameters measured were sex ratio, length and weight relationship, condition factor and gonad maturity level and water quality parameter Results shown that 124 pantau fish were caught, consisting of 72 males and 52 females (sex ratio 1.3: 1). The gonad maturity level ranged from 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. No mature female fish were found during the study. The growth pattern of male and female fish is negative allometric with b values of male and female fish were 2.7 and 2.6, respectively. The condition factor ranges from 0.83-1.29. Indicating that the fish was in good condition. The water quality parameters are as follows: temperature 29-30, brightness 46-68, pH 6, Dissolved oxygen 3.9-5.1 mg/L, nitrate 0.0542-0.1271 mg/L, and phosphate 0.042-0.0875 mg/L. The fish was in good condition as the environmental conditions are good and the food supply is sufficient.
