Jenis dan kelimpahan mikroplastik pada lambung ikan lelan (Diplocheilichtys pleurotaenia Bleeker) di sungai kampar kabupaten kampar provinsi riau

The purpose of this study was to determine the type and abundance of microplastics found in the stomach of lelan fish in the Kampar River. This research was conducted in December 2023 - January 2024 at 3 stations, namely: Station 1 (upstream - Merangin Village), Station 2 (middle - Langgini Village) and Station 3 (downstream - Sungai Tonang Village) twice with a span of 1 month. Captured fish samples were dissected and taken from the stomach, then given a 10% KOH solution and incubated for 2 weeks. Then observed using a binocular microscope to determine the type of microplastics. The results of the study obtained 3 types of microplastics found in the stomach of this fish, namely fiber, fragments and films. The most common type of microplastics found was fiber, followed by film and fragments. The total abundance of microplastics in the stomach of lelan fish (Diplocheilichtys pleurotaenia Bleeker) has a value ranging from 11,75 – 13,54 particles/individual.
