Persepsi nelayan terhadap usaha penangkapan ikan senangin (eLEUTHERONEMA TETRADACTYLUM) dan hubungan dengan skala usaha perikanan tangkap di kelurahan bagan barat
Fishermen's perceptions of senangin fishing efforts and their relationship with the scale of fishing efforts in Bagan Barat Village seen from traditional, post-traditional, and commercial fishermen. One of the fish production is senangin fish using gill net fishing gear. Based on secondary data in 2021, fisheries production was recorded at 33,847.46 tons, of which 41,141 tons or 98% were the results of marine and public water fisheries, while 1,089.79 tons or 2% were the results of aquaculture. This research method is a survey method with a quantitative approach and the determination of respondents was carried out by simple random sampling with a total of 30 fishermen as respondents. The results of the study obtained were; 1) The characteristics of fishermen are good as evidenced by age, formal education, number of dependents, work experience, and income; 2) Fishermen's perceptions of senangin fishing efforts are quite good as evidenced by fishing gear, fishing areas, weather, labor, business capital, fish sales locations, fish prices, and fish quality; 3) The scale of the capture fisheries business is categorized as post-traditional fishermen with a very significant number of 25 people or 83% of the total respondents; 4) The relationship between the characteristics of Senangin fish fishermen and the scale of Senangin fish capture fisheries business reveals that the factors that most influence the scale of the capture fisheries business are work experience, income, and age of fishermen; 5) The relationship between fishermen's perceptions and the scale of Senangin fish capture fisheries business, namely overall the scale of the fisheries business shows a significant correlation with almost all variables studied, with the strongest correlation in fishing gear (r = 0.736, p
