Penerapan model pembelajaran prediction, observation, explanation, elaboration, write, evaluation (poe2we) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pokok bahasan asam basa kelas xi sman 4 pekanbaru
The study aims to determine whether the application of the POE2WE
learning model can improve students' learning outcomes on the topic of Acids and
Bases. The research conducted was an experimental study using a Randomized
Control Group Pretest-Posttest design. The experimental class was given treatment
in the form of the application of the POE2WE learning model and the control class
without the POE2WE learning model. This research was conducted at SMAN 4
Pekanbaru, class XI 5 as the experimental class and XI 6 as the control class. The
data collection technique used a test in the form of Pretest-Posttest questions. The
data analysis technique for the results of the study was carried out using normality
tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. As a prerequisite test for the study,
normality tests and homogeneity tests were carried out for the experimental and
control classes. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the frequency of
the pretest data for classes XI 5 and XI 6 was normally distributed and
homogeneous. Hypothesis testing used statistical testing with SPSS 25 for windows,
namely the independent sample t-test. The results obtained from this study are that
the application of the POE2WE learning model can improve students' learning
outcomes in Acid Base material. This is evidenced by the results obtained based on
the value of tcount> ttable, namely 3.5559> 1.66235. This means that it is accepted
that there is a difference in student learning outcomes in the experimental class and
the control class, which shows that the application of the POE2WE learning model
can improve student learning outcomes in Acid Base material.
