This research aims to analyze the improvement of students' literacy and
numeracy skills through the Class 8 Teaching Campus Program at SDIT Al-Manar
Pekanbaru. This program is part of efforts to improve the quality of education by
involving students as teachers in target schools. This research uses qualitative
research methods with a case study approach. The subjects of this research were 10
people. In this research, the main instrument is the researcher himself and the
supporting instruments are observation, interviews, documentation, as well as pretest
and post-test from AKM. Data analysis techniques are carried out by means of
data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. AKM pre-test and posttest
results showed that students who achieved the good category in literacy
increased from 46.67% to 60%, while for numeracy, the increase occurred from
43.33% to 46.67%. The conclusions in this research show that this program has
succeeded in improving students' literacy and numeracy skills.
