ABSTRACT
Tourism in Indonesia continues to grow in various regions. Riau Province is one of the provinces in Indonesia that continues to develop the tourism sector. The diversity of customs, culture and natural beauty can attract tourists to visit. Indragiri Hilir Regency is one of the districts in Riau that has various natural tourist destinations. With an area of 18,812.97 km², there is a lot of tourism potential, both natural and cultural. One of the beaches that has tourism potential is in Mandah District, Pulau Cawan Village. Solop Beach, which is one of the beach tourist destinations in Indragiri Hilir Regency, does not have adequate facilities for tourists who visit. One of the facilities needed is lodging facilities so that tourists can visit for longer. For this reason, resort facilities on Solop Beach with a Coastal Architecture approach are needed equipped with supporting facilities The existence of the resort is a facility to increase tourism on the coast of Cawan Island Village so as to attract tourists to visit. This also affects the economy of the community around Pulau Cawan Village.
