Pengayaan Pakan Pasta Terfermentasi Dengan Temulawak (Curcuma Zanthorrhiza Roxb) Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Larva Ikan Gurami (Osphronemus Gouramy Lac.)
The growth of gourami larvae (Osphronemus gouramy) is often hindered by the limited availability of natural feed such as tubifex worms. The use of fermented paste feed enriched with temulawak (Curcuma zanthorrhiza Roxb) is expected to serve as an effective alternative. This study aims to evaluate the effect of fermented paste feed with temulawak on the growth and survival of gourami larvae. The research was conducted over 40 days using a completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments: P1 (tubifex), P2 (fermented paste without temulawak), P3 (6 g/kg temulawak), P4 (9 g/kg temulawak), and P5 (12 g/kg temulawak). Parameters measured included weight gain, length increment, specific growth rate, survival rate, and water quality. Results indicated that P1 yielded the best results across all growth parameters, with a survival rate of 92%. P3 showed the second-best performance, with a weight gain of 0.31 g and a survival rate of 76%. Higher doses of temulawak (P4 and P5) reduced growth efficiency and water quality. Conclusion: Fermented paste feed enriched with 6 g/kg of temulawak can enhance larval immunity, but natural tubifex worms remain the best option for optimal growth of gourami larvae.
