Analisis Nilai Tambah Dan Strategi Pengembangan Agroindustri Gambir Di Nagari Sialang Kecamatan Kapur Ix Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota (Studi Kasus Gambir Sialang Pak Sukiman)
ABSTRACT
This study aims to: (1) analyze the income obtained from processing gambir plants into pure gambir in Pak Sukiman's Gambir Sialang business, (2) analyze the added value generated from processing gambir plants into pure gambir in Pak Sukiman's Gambir Sialang business, (3) describe the internal and external factors that are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for the development of Pak Sukiman's Gambir Sialang business, and (4) develop strategies that can be applied to the development of Pak Sukiman's Gambir Sialang business. This study uses a case study method using primary and secondary data. Descriptive and quantitative analysis are used to determine the income and added value of Pak Sukiman's gambir dudukg agroindustry. Hayami method to analyze added value. Descriptive analysis to describe internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) and external factors (opportunities and threats) of Pak Sukiman's gambir dudukg agroindustry. SWOT and AHP analysis to analyze the development strategy of Pak Sukiman's gambir dudukg agroindustry. The results of the study showed that Pak Sukiman's gambir dudukg agroindustry earned an income of Rp6.058.441,68/month. The added value was Rp60,587.50/kg of gambir leaf paste raw material with an added value ratio of 48.47%. The strategies that can be applied to Pak Sukiman's gambir dudukg business are to maintain product characteristics and improve product quality so that they reach a wide target market, build cooperation with suppliers of raw materials whose quality is maintained and cooperate with trusted agents, carry out technological innovation both in processing and packaging for business development, maximize direct product sales and utilize technology for online marketing and establish good relationships with customers.
