Analisis Efisiensi Produksi Nanas Di Kecamatan Sungai Apit Kabupaten Siak
ABSTRACT
This study aims to (1) evaluate the application of pineapple cultivation techniques
by farmers, (2) analyze the income from pineapple farming, and (3) measure the
levels of technical, allocative, and economic efficiency of pineapple farming in
Sungai Apit District using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) approach. Data
were collected through a survey of 30 farmers using accidental sampling. The
results indicate that most farmers have not fully implemented cultivation
techniques in accordance with CIFOR standards, although farm income remains
relatively high. The average technical, allocative, and economic efficiencies were
0.977; 0.579; and 0.567 respectively, indicating that there is still room for
improvement through input optimization and cost efficiency.
