Perancangan Aplikasi Pemesanan Layanan Jasa Home Cleaning Service Berbasis Android Dengan Menggunakan Metode Prototype

ABSTRACT
Home cleaning service is a cleaning service that can be ordered online through a mobile application. This service offers a variety of options at different price levels, depending on the type and scope of service requested. The main purpose is to assist families or individuals with busy routines who lack the time to clean or regularly maintain their homes, especially vacant houses, to ensure they remain livable at any time. Based on a questionnaire distributed by the researcher, a high percentage of residents in Pekanbaru City are frequently engaged in activities outside the home, resulting in limited time to handle household chores. The survey was completed by 65 respondents, consisting of 30 males and 35 females. The data revealed that 90.8% of respondents have intense outdoor activities, 3.1% rarely engage in such activities, and 6.2% often do. Furthermore, regarding the need for assistance in performing household tasks, 29.4% of respondents always require help, 33.8% often need help, 32.4% rarely need help, and 5.9% never need help. These findings indicate a significant demand for a home cleaning service application that provides accessible and practical solutions. Therefore, this research proposes the design of an Android-based home cleaning service application to address this growing need.
