Studi Agribisnis Tanaman Hias Aglonema (Sri Rejeki) Di Kota Pekanbaru

This research aimed in order to know about value added that produced from
each subsystem in agribusiness, an also to knew the aglonema agribusiness
problems in Pekanbaru. This research was held out in Pekanbaru from September
2006 to November 2006. The method that used was survey method whereas the
taking method of the samples was purposive sampling method totally 15 samples
of flowers seller and 15 samples of the retailer. The taking method of the sample
of the retailer followed the market channel of the flowers seller. Based on the
results of aglonema that most was suitable to be made an effort to get in the
Pekanbaru were Pride Of Sumatra and Donna Carmen. The Value Added that
produced in farming subsystem was Rp. 349.802,29 with averages RP. 23.320 15
whereas in the processing sub-system, value added that was produced of
Rp. 138.595,84 with averates RP. 9.239,72 For the repayment of manpower that
was received of Rp.l 10.022,16 with averages Rp. 7.334,81 whereas the profit that
was accepted by the flowers seller of Rp. 378.376,01 with averages Rp.25.225,06.
In the subsystem of production means and the marketing was not received yet by
the added value creation, in marketing subsystem of aglonema Pride Of Sumatra
and Donna Carmen were not for rent. The main problems dealt with by the
flowers seller aglonema was the lack in of the provisions production means that in
fact not available in Pekanbaru and capital problem that was relatively big to
begin decorative plants aglonema efforts.
