Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman PAK CHOY (Brassica chinensis L.) Dengan Pemberian Ekstrak Bunga Pahit (Tithonia diversifolia)

The lowness of pak choy production is occurred because the decrease of soil quality. This are caused by the continious exploitation, the unbalance using of organic fertilizer, the pest and disease attack, the difficulty to get the prime seed variety wich have dangerous disease resistance, the high temperature, and the difficulties for the farmer to accept and to apply the new technology. That problem can be decrease by the using of organic fertilizer from Tithonia diversifolia extract. Its material is cheaper, easy to get, and the way to make it is very easy so can be applied by the farmer. The add of Tithonia diversifolia extract in the soil is very advantageous because its contain the soil,s repairing, this extract is also contain a macro and micro hara that is needed by the plant, so it,s potential as a hara source and able to restrain the desease pest attack. Regarding with that it conducta research that aim to get the best doses from Tithonia diversifolia extract to the growth and the production of pak choy plant. The research is conducted experimentally using the complete randomdevice that consist of five treatments and four repitition. The parameter wich been observed in the research are the plant height, the leave amount, the leave width, the fresh weight/plot, the consumption fresh weight/plot, and the root volume. From the research seems that the giving of Tithonia diversifolia extract with mant doses is improve the growth of the leave width, the fresh weight/plot, the fresh production/plot, and didn,t give any improvement to the plant height, the leave amount, and the root volume. However, the giving of Tithonia diversifolia extract with the doses 2500 ml/m2 is giving the good growth to all parameter. According to this research, it is suggested to give the Tithonia diversifolia extract with the doses 2500 ml/m2 to the pak choy cultivation.
