Kuat Tekan dan Modulus Elastisitas Beton Menggunakan Bahan Tambah Dregs Refining Hasil Limbah Akasia
ABSTRACT
Portland cement represent especial component in concrete technology.
Cement process can make worse effect of this global warming and glasshouse so
that need thrift of use cement through substitution with waste (pozzolan) as
concrete mixes. Dregs is waste of acacia having the nature ofpozzolanik because
containing element ofSiC>2 dan CaO which can be used as a substitution cement.
This research aim to know influence usage dregs additive as cement
substitute into concrete mixes. This research investigation about compressive
strength and concrete modulus of elasticity and also to learn the optimum rate
dregs refining with it’s variation 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% of weight cement.
Result of research indicate that addition 5% dregs refining can increase
concrete compressive strength 6,2 l%o of concrete 0%> dresg refining at age 56
day. Modulus of elasticity also increase 7,44% on adding 5% dregs refining of
concrete 0% dregs refining at age 28 day.
