Pengaruh Good Corporate Governance Terhadap PT Riau Airlines

Performance of PT Riau Airlines still received considerable attention, but are
required to generate revenue, the demands of shareholders and the public to the
presence of increasing business and professions, stakeholders want the business
activities of the values & appreciates their interest, corporate directors are required
to manage the business with ethical, the Company asked to be more responsible,
transparent and ethical.
It is based on the phenomenon is still weak policy coordination between the
company's internal improvement measures and industrial policies and market, the
burden of debt and high operating costs caused the company's losses, lack of
consistency in employment due to lack of attention to skills and education and
professionalism, a large number of employees when compared with the fleet, the
existence of bureaucratic intervention, tend to ignore cooperation with investors, and
yet terimplementasikannya principles of good corporate governance
Thinking framework used in this study are as follows: the influence of good
corporate governance to PT Riau Airlines with reviewing aspects of transparency,
accountability & responsibility, responsiveness, independence, and fairness.
The research was carried out using quantitative descriptive method. Necessary
data in this study is the primary data, ie data sourced from respondents include the
implementation of good corporate governance to PT Riau Airlines with reviewing
aspects of transparency, accountability & responsibility, responsiveness,
independence, and fairness, secondary data taken from PT Riau Airlines. Techniques
of data collection in this study were questionnaires and interviews.
The results showed that the implementation of good corporate governance, of
all aspects of giving effect to the implementation of good corporate governance,
aspects Accountability have the greatest influence on the implementation of good
corporate governance in PT Riau Airlines. Thus PT Riau Airlines should be able to
implement all aspects of good corporate governance if you want to pursue
operational
