Tinjauan Tentang Demokratisasi Pemerintahan Desa Bina Maju Kecamatan Rangsang Barat Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti

This research is motivated by not running optimally democratic principles in village government Bina Maju should be performed. In this case, as an important instrument of democratic governance, namely Village Talk (BPD) in the implementation of its authority, the leadership of the village government (village head and the village) and participation still in progress as it should.The problems of this research is how to implement democratic in vilage governance Bina Maju? This study aims to determine the performance of democratic governance Bina Maju. As for the population in this study is Bina Maju villagers numbering 1216 souls, while the sample in this study is the management of BPD as many as 7 people, governments and villages as many as 22 people in this community as much as 13 community leaders and the general public as much as 80 people. A sampling technique use purposive sampling. Data was collected through observation, questionnaires and interviews. When analyzing the data using a combination of methods (mixed methods).These results indicate that the implementation of democratic governance in Bina Maju, when viewed through the BPD authority, the village government leadership and community participation that lasts "less good". Yet, as more particularly be seen in the implementation democratic in Bina Desa Maju, each of which lasted well through the BPD authority equal to 29.6%, by the leadership of the village government is also taking place in both the amount of 24.6%, while when viewed through the levels of community participation, democratization does not occur in the amount of 58.3%.
