The community customs to life that keeps the natural numbers is
sustainability enough and usually reffered to by the local wisdom in the
form of normative and not written. The existence of local wisdom is
extremely broad, include the custom rules should be implemented, tips,
pepatah, pantun, chants, rituals, myths, objects, and so on.
Pulau Birandang village is one of the villages in the Kampar Timur
Subdistrict of Kampar Regency that in reality has quite a lot of local
wisdom in the agricultural environments, whether still carried out or who
have rarely or perhaps already are missing altogether. There are some
wisdom that very prominent, popular and reputedly is the village specific
wisdom such as Maarak Surek.
This research aims to 1). Identifying the local wisdom that ever existed and
still exist in the agricultural environment and dependencies with the
environment. 2). Analyze arthropoda soil found in the area of research.
This research used survey method together data from 12 respondents with
deep interviews.
Based on the result of research in the field of agriculture carried but
wisdom on the fields, known the wisdom found in the activity: 1. The
opening of land. 2. Tillage. 3. Seeding rice seed. 4. Planting rice. 5.
Maintenance. 6. Manabua pasia. 7. Maarak surek. 8. Harvest. 9. Storing
gram at home.
The index value of the dominance of the land can be calculated by
arthropoda uses three parameters: 1). The density of the roll surface
arthropoda (K). 2). The index of diversity (H) 3). The dominance of this
type of index (c). In general, the existence of arthropoda in two locations is
low and no one dominating.
