Sintesis, Uji Antibakteri dan Uji Toksisitas Beberapa Analog Kalkon Tersubstitusi Halogen
Seven halogen substituted analogoues compounds chalcone,
(E)-1-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-p-tolylprop-2-en-1-on,(E)-1-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-(4-
isopropylfenil)prop-2-en-1-on, (E) -1-(3-bromophenyl)-3-p-tolylprop-2-en-1-
on, (E) -1-(3-bromophenyl)-3-(4-isopropylphenyl)prop-2-en-1-on,(E)-1-(2-
chlorophenyl)-3-p-tolylprop-2-en-1-on, (E)-1,3-bis(3-bromophenyl) prop-2-
en-1-on, and(E) -1-(3-bromophenyl) -3-(4-chlorophenyl) prop-2-en-1-on
were synthesized from 2-chlorobenzaldehyde, 3-bromobenzaldehyde,
4-chlorobenzaldehyde, 4-metylbenzaldehyde, 4-isopropyl benzaldehyde
as aldehydes with 2-chloroacetophenone, 3-bromoacetophenone,
4-chloroacetophenone as ketones by using aldol condensation reaction.
All the compounds resulted rendement with value of 87,51%, 64,90%,
62,38%, 55,29%, 60,08%, 60,48%, and 74,34% respectively and
characterized by using UV, IR, MS, and 1HNMR. Test of antibacterial
activity using agar diffusion method showed that the compound(E)-1-(2-
chlorophenyl)-3-p-tolylprop-2-en-1-on potentialas an antibacterial. Toxicity
tests using Brine Shrimp Lethality Test(BSLT) showed that those
compounds have a potency as anticancer agent with LC50 value 2,50-39,8
μg/mL.
