ADLINASARI, The Effect of Work Motivation of Honorary Teachers on the
Implementation of their Roles at State Elementary Scool 001 Panipahan kecamatan
Pasir Limau Kapas Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Supervised by Dr. Swis Tantoro, M.Si and
Dr. Syofyan Siregar, M.Phil.
The objectives of the present research was to investigate honorary teachers
motivation and teachers work motivation on the implementation of the roles of the
honorary teachers at State Elementary School 001 Panipahan Kecamatan Pasir Limau
Kapas Kabupaten Rokan Hilir.
The research approach was descriptive in that various data collected through an
interview and field observation were described and analyzed. The research objects
included all 29 honorary teachers at State Elementary School 001 Panipahan,
Kecamatan pasir limau Kabupaten Rokan Hilir.
The results show that firstly the factors affecting the work motivation of the
honorary teachers at State Elementary School 001 Panipahan, Kecamatan Pasir Limau
Kapas Kabupaten Rokan Hilir were compensation, human relationship, and work
environment. Secondly, the factors affecting the roles of the teachers were educators,
models, teachers, advisors, students, communicators, administrators and loyalty to the
institutions. Thirdly, there was a relationship between the effect of the teachers role
motivation on a positive relationship where a value change of the teachers motivation
was followed by a value change at work achievement category or in other words, when
motivation increased, their roles would also increase.
