The purpose of this research is to analyze the performance of Pekanbaru Public Elementary School Principal in terms of attitudes and entrepreneurial competence. The research was conducted on public elementary school in Pekanbaru. The method used in this research was causation method with research verification type. Data were taken from the spread of the instrument to 121 principals of Pekanbaru public elementary school. The instruments that used to collected data were in the form of questionnaire with likert scale models and semantic defferensial. There are three variables; they are work attitude, entrepreneurship competencies and principal performance. The instrument validity was tested by using product moment correlation formula, while reliability coefficient instrument calculated by alpha coefficient. Requirement of data analysis was normality test using SPSS. Data analysis used simple and partial correlation then simple and multiple regressions. This research showed that: First, there was positive effect between Attitudes (X1) of the Principal Performance (Y) with correlation coefficient ry1=0.343 and regression equation Υˆ =71.301+0.463X1. Second, there was positive effect between entrepreneurial competence (X2) of the Principal Performance (Y) with correlation coefficient ry2=0.397 and regression equation Υˆ =68.584+0.479X2. Third, there was positive effect between Attitudes (X1) and entrepreneurial competence (X2) of the Principal Performance (Y) togetherness with correlation coefficient ry1=0.547 and regression equation Υˆ =47.551+0.327+0.367X2. Conclusion of this research showed that principal performance could be enhanced through improving attitudes and entrepreneurial competence.
