Tinjauan Yuridis Koalisi Politik Dalam Sistem Presidensial Masa Pemerintahan Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono Periode Tahun 2009-2014

Governance system adopted by the State of Indonesia based Act of 1945 is a Presidential system. Presidential system form governance is led by a President. The election of president and vice president in Indonesia, suggests candidates must be proposed by a political party or coalition of political parties that gained seats at least 20% (twenty percent) of the total seats in the House of Representatives or get a 25% (twenty five percent) of the national valid votes in the election of members of the House of Representatives prior to the election of President and Vice President. Consequently, the coalition is the only option for political parties.
Coalition of political parties during the government of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono had a lot of dynamics, namely the lack of unanimity of opinion between members of the coalition of political parties to the government policy. This resulted in the destruction of the coalition parties. Meanwhile the problem of coalition political parties of the President 2009-2014 period that stands out is the case of Bank Century. In completion of the Bank Century case, there is a difference of opinion between members of the coalition of political parties on the Bank Century bailout that resulted in the outbreak of the coalition. Many members of the coalition that opposed the government policy.
