Sintesis Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (Pcc) Dari Kulit Telur Itik Dengan Metode Karbonasi
Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (PCC) is produced from calcium carbonate precipitation process with high purity. PCC is widely used as an additive in many research industry. At the PCC synthesized by carbonation method is by reacting skin duck eggs that have been calcined (CaO) with nitric acid, then add NH4OH and CO2 gas stream to form a precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC). Based on research conduted optimum conditions were obtained at a concentration of 2,5 M HNO3 to pH 8 based CO2 deposition XRD analysis, duck egg shell has a crystalline form vaterit the maximum diffraction peak occurs at 2θ equal to 27.05450. PCC has the form of calcite crystals with maximum diffraction peak occurs at 2θ equal to 29.43780. Based on AAS analysis, the percentage of skin test paramaters duck eggs for CaCO3 89.5% and 97.2% CaCO3 PCC. Based on the analysis of titration complexometry contained Ca2+ in the PCC, evidenced by the solution colour change from purple to blue PCC.
