The thesis explains about implementation strategy of Geneva Agreement 2006 in Indonesia. This research is descriptive qualitative research the secondary data that is supported some primary dates to understand how the strategy of Geneva Agreement 2006 implementation in Indonesia and its influence toward broadcasting in Indonesia. From the founding of this research is Indonesia in implementing Geneva Agreement 2006 by doing the actions namely: first, arranging roadmap; second, using basic law third, control of digital equipment; fourth, determination of LP3M; fifth, Broadcasting Institution Program and Sixth, public right protection.
The strategy that is done by the government in implementing Geneva Agreement 2006 in Indonesia influence broadcasting world that implicates on the regulation of broadcasting, private and government, and society. It happens in all life aspects, so all countries need each other. Its called challenge because globalization means open market for to world. Everyone or all companies have same chance to enter other countries’ marker. It’s called treat because all people or all companies will enter the same market. The strategy that is made by the government in changing analog into digital has found many changes like some Broadcasting Institution to be migration of analog into digital as change and make suitable the system and broadcasting content on the digital concept. But in Indonesia regulation in the aspect of telecommunication and information in digital system that is not suitable with society’s condition has influenced segment in broadcasting system. In this decade Indonesia is still includes the worst country category in the aspect of telecommunication and information because of lack of preparedness factor in Indonesia.
