Analisis Daya Tampung Beban Pencemaran Sungai Kampar Kiri Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau
The objectives of this research are to identify the pollutant sources location, analyse the pollution load and pollution load capacity parameter BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand), COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) and TSS (Total Suspended Solid). QUAL2Kw method is applied in modelling process where main rivers are divided into nine reach with Sungai Sibayang (kilometre-86,629) as headwater and Mentulik Village as downstreammost border (kilometre 0). Water samples are taken at ten points; five samples from the main river and the rest five are taken from the creeks. The modelling used data of pollutant source water quality as the input and data of main river quality as a comparison. Based on the results of the research, total pollution load of BOD is of 4,83 tons/hour and total BOD pollution load capacity of 2,65 tons/hour which means that BOD pollution load capacity has been overloaded by 2,18 tons/hour. Total COD pollution load of 8.16 tons/hour and total pollution load capacity of 8, 16 tons/hour which means that COD pollution load capacity has not been overloaded and the main river still can accommodate additional COD pollution load of 0.29 tons/hour. Total TSS pollution load of 55.90/hour and the total TSS pollution load capacity of 12.45 tons/hour means that TSS pollution load capacity has been overloaded by 43,45 Tons/hour. Indeed, in general total BOD and TSS pollution load capacity has been overloaded while it has not been of COD, yet when it is reviewed based on reach, then it was found that BOD overloaded pollution capacity has already happened at kilometre 18 – 1of 1, 37 Tons/hour, COD pollution load capacity at kilometre 45 - 40 of 2,38 Tons/hour and TSS pollution load capacity in Teso River of 32,54 Tons/hour.
