Pengaruh Penerapan Teknik Mendongeng Terhadap Kemampuan Menyimak Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di TK Kurnia Kecamatan Tampan Pekanbaru
Based on observations during the researcher in charge at Kurnia District Tampan of Pekanbaru district encountered symptoms or phenomena in particular on the ability to listen to the story, as follows : 1) low ability children in listening especially in listening to the story. This can be seen when the teacher asks the child to convey story elements such as character, setting, characterization, only a small proportion of teachers who can answer questions, 2) low ability children in retelling stories that have been read by the teacher, 3) lack of attention to children when teascher explains or describes the story, children are not so enthusiastic in listening to the story presented by the teacher, this is caused by the way the teacher presents the story in front of the class using the style too monotonous. This study uses a quasi exsperiment that sought to examine the problem in a systematic and accurate about the facts and the nature of a particular object. The sample in this study were 20 children. Based on the survey revealed that: 1) Before using storytelling techniques to children age 5-6 years in Kurnia Kindergarten District Tampan of Pekanbaru can be concluded that the child’s listening skills are in the low category, 2) After using storytelling techniques to children ages 5-6 years in Kurnia Kindergarten District Tampan of Pekanbaru listening skills moost children in middle category, 3) There are significant differences before the child’s listening skills after using the techniques of the storytelling to children age 5-6 year in Kurnia Kindergarten District Tampan of Pekanbaru, 4) Effect of storytelling technigues to the child’s listening skills age 5-6 years in Kurnia Kindergarten District Tampan of Pekanbaru by 16.2%. Approximately 83.8% while listening ability is influenced by other factorys. Conclusion is hypothesis testing hypothesis of this study which says “ that the storytelling teachniques affect the ability of listening to children age 5-6 years in Kurnia Kindergarten District Tampan of Pekanbaru acceptable.
