Uji Beberapa Konsentrasi Bakteri Bacillus Sp. Endofit Untuk Meningkatkan Pertumbuhan Bibit Kakao (Theobroma Cacao L.)
The research aims to determine isolates Bacillus sp. Endophyte from the root, stems, midrib and leaves of palm oil produce hormone indole acetic acids (IAA), determine the influence of concentration Bacillus sp. Endophyte and get best concentration for promoting growth cocoa seedlings (Theobroma cacao L.). The Research was conducted at the Soil Science Laboratory, Plant Disease Laboratory and experiment Garden Faculty Agriculture University Riau. The research carried out two stages in vitro and in vivo. The first stage of research testing the ability Bacillus sp. endophyte produce IAA. The first stage research were analyzed of descriptive statistic in form picture and table. The second stage conducted experiment use complete design random (CDR) consisting of 5 treatment and 4 replication. The treatments used are concentrations of Bacillus sp. endophyte: that is without giving Endophyte Bacillus sp. (B0), concentration 1011 cfu/ml (B1), concentration 1012 cfu/ml (B2), concentration 1013 cfu/ml (B3), concentration and 1014 cfu /ml (B4). The results of the research were statistically analyzed using analysis of variance and continued test Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) at level of 5%. The Research showed that all isolates Bacillus sp. endophyte produces hormones IAA and all concentrations of Bacillus sp. endophyte able to increase growth seedlings cocoa. Concentration 1011 cfu/ml produce sum colonies more in medium planting, growth high, stem diameter, number leaves and broad leaves better on the cocoa seedlings.
