Prospek Pengembangan Usaha Pembesaran Ikan Mas (Cyprinus Carpio) Dalam Keramba di Nagari Muaro Paiti Kecamatan Kapur ix Kabupaten 50 Kota Provinsi Sumatra Barat

This research was conducted on 25th November – 05th December, 2013 which aims to determine the total cost of production, net income and the feasibility of enlarging carp (Cyprinus Carpio) in cages in Nagari Muaro Paiti. The method used in this study is a survey method to direct interview to 9 fish farmers.
The results of this study indicate that the total average cost of production for each farmer enlargement carp (Cyprinus Carpio) in cages at Rp 23.074.970, while the average net income per fish farmers amounting to Rp 7.389.029 in one-time harvest during maintenance 4 months. Based on the technical aspects, market aspects and environmental aspects of the business can be said fish rearing in cages in Nagari Muaro Paiti feasible to be developed with very promising prospects for the future.
