Perancangan Dan Pembuatan Mesin Belah Kayu Menggunakan Sistem Belah Majemuk
At this time the timber industry is growing very rapidly, but the resudual of sawn wood waste has not been utilized to the fullest. The purpose of designing and manufacturing wood divisive machines using compounds divisive system is to use the wood sawn residual that can be utilized and have economic value. In this design uses two electric motors used as driving the 1 HP and 0.5 HP. 1 HP motors used to drive the cutter shaft is transmitted using belts and pulleys and 0.5 HP motors used to drive the shaft tools. Tests carried out using a knife bushing spacer with a size of 2 cm, 2.5 cm and 3 cm. The test results by 2 cm knife spacing bushing result timber size with a thickness of 1.5 cm, 2.5 cm knife spacing bushing result timber size with a thickness of 2 cm and the distance of the blade bushing size of 3 cm is obtained timber size with a thickness of 3 cm.
